The Arizona Sonora Desert Museum is not your typical museum. Most of the exhibits are living, breathing individuals who make their homes in the Sonoran Desert. A renowned zoo, natural history museum and botanical garden, all in one place!
Expect to encounter lots of cowboys and action at this attractions “Where Legends Come Alive!” Many famous actors filmed their westerns here, and now western shows delight visitors.

A very unique zoo located within Tucson’s city limits is home to over 400 exotic animals. Many of which are endangered species. The Reid Park Zoo is especially noted for its captive breeding programs for many animals. Reid Park is more than just a zoo, it is considered one of Tucson’s premier parks with a abundance of features suited for all personalities.
SAN XAVIER MISSION
“White Dove of the Desert” should not be missed. In the vast desert just outside Tucson, Arizona, one would not expect to find a beautiful church. You will not be prepared for you will see. As you approach this majestic “white dove of the desert” (as it is affectionately called) it is truly an awesome experience. The sheer size and bright color against a blue sky and the tan colors of the desert make San Xavier a striking sight.

TITAN MISSILE MUSEUM

In 1981, the President of the United States announced that all Titan IIs would be phased-out by mid 1987. The Titan Missile Museum is the only Titan II site that remains intact.
Kitt Peak Observatory Discovering Arizona Skies

The world’s largest collection of optical telescopes is located high above the Sonoran Desert under some of the finest night skies in the world. Kitt Peak, on the Tohono O’odham Reservation, is home to twenty-two optical and two radio telescopes representing eight astronomical research institutions.
