Sweetheart Valentine’s Dance features Big Band Express, a premier collaboration of Tucson’s finest jazz professionals with many years of experience in big bands throughout the United States. Led by vocalist, drummer, Tom Patrick, the 16-piece band features the arrangements of many of the Big Bands’ finest musicians. Adding to the excitement will be vocalist Crystal Stark, who, with her bright eyes and magnetic smile, found fame as one of 44 finalists in the fifth season of TV’s popular “American Idol.” The high finish led to appearances on shows hosted by Jay Leno, Regis and Kelly, Jimmy Kimmel and Ellen Degeneres.

The continuing story of Johnny Hobson, still working at The Dairy Queen, having needs past the city limits of his small Texas town and looking for love, with his driving passion to become the next big fashion designer and to meet the mysterious shirtless man in the convertible.   THE BIBLE BELT stands on its own as an 85-minute joyous exploration of acceptance, denial and reflection.

New Year’s Competition Pow-Wow/Craft Market

Dancers from more than 50 tribes, authentic handmade crafts, children’s activity area, traditional Indian foods, birds of prey exhibit, dancing, singing and drum contests, Indian information booth with brochures, flyers, maps, and powwow schedules for the next year. This three-day event includes a Craft Market and the International Day. All activities will be held outdoors. Bring your own lawn chairs and shade.
